Communication Arts 50+1 Timeline
Our Work
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Communication Arts on the Statesboro Campus and the first anniversary on the Armstrong Campus, the chair of the department asked University Communications and Marketing to design a timeline mural. The timeline would feature memorable moments for both programs.
The finished product measured 26 feet long and over 9 feet tall, and had to be printed in panels that were installed by Action Signs. Features of the timeline included images of students, faculty and buildings, descriptions, design elements unique to Comm Arts programs, and spaces for alumni to add their signatures.
The mural was unveiled at the 50+1 Celebration on October 15, 2019. Alumni, students, faculty and the campus community attended the event at Sanford Hall on the Statesboro campus.
